Flush before replace
What we cover

Five heating jobs, one honest team.

From a lukewarm radiator to a whole new system. We diagnose first, quote before we start, and explain the options in plain English.

Radiator replacement

Rads cold at the top? Leaking from the bottom? Ugly? We size, fit and balance new ones properly.

Power flush

Cold at the bottom means sludge. A proper chemical flush (not a 30-minute rinse) clears the system and restores heat.

New radiators

Add one, move one, rebalance the whole lot. Designer, column or traditional — we fit it all.

System upgrade or new boiler

If the heating’s tired the boiler often is too. Honest assessment of whether replacing makes financial sense.

Smart thermostats

Nest, Hive, Tado, Drayton, Honeywell. Fitted, paired to your boiler, app walkthrough before we leave.

Straight up

We’d rather earn your first review than fake ten.

You’ve seen the plumber websites — the suspiciously perfect five-stars, the same three stock photos. We didn’t bother. When a real Leicester customer rates a real job, the review lands here verbatim.

Until then, here’s what you can count on.

  • Honest quote before any work starts — in writing if you want it.
  • Local 0116 Leicester phone — not a nationwide call-routing number.
  • Clear invoices — every line item explained, no vague “miscellaneous” add-ons.
  • Every Trustpilot review we ever get, posted here verbatim — good or bad.

Frequently asked

Before you book a heating job.

The five questions Leicester homeowners ask most about central heating — if yours isn’t here, the phone is still the fastest way to a straight answer.

How much does a power flush cost in Leicester?

Every job is quoted on the phone before we set off — depending on system size and how bad the sludge is. Fixed quote after a 10-minute on-site check. If the system is so sludged it’d cost more to flush than to replace parts, we’ll tell you straight — we’d rather lose the job than pressure-sell a fix that won’t last.

My radiators are cold at the bottom — do I need a new heating system?

Usually no. Cold at the bottom = sludge settling (power flush territory). Cold at the top = trapped air (bleed it with a key, takes five minutes). We always diagnose before we quote anything, and sometimes the fix is just a bleed key and a cup of tea.

Can I add a radiator without replacing the whole system?

Yes — in most systems. We check the boiler output can cope with the extra load, balance the new rad into the existing loop, and only suggest a full upgrade if the numbers genuinely don’t add up. Adding one rad is almost always a straightforward job.

Do you fit smart thermostats like Nest or Hive?

Yes — Nest, Hive, Tado, Drayton and Honeywell. We fit the thermostat, wire it into your boiler, pair it with the app, and walk you through how to use it before we leave. No “here’s the manual, good luck”.

How long does a new heating system install take?

Typical 3-bed house: 2–4 working days depending on whether the boiler moves location, how many radiators we’re changing, and whether the system needs a power flush first. We’ll give you a day-by-day schedule before we start, not a vague “about a week”.
